ABOUT OUR WORSHIP CENTER
The Community Center is a full gospel, interdenominational, fellowship and we are led to Invite, Love, Heal and Redeem lost souls. The Lord has appointed us as ambassadors of His Kingdom, to effect change, spark a holy culture and promote unity in the Body of Christ for His Glory. As such, we are here to preach and teach the Truth of God's word. Through joint efforts to reach others for Christ, we aspire to equip men and women with a balance between Biblical teachings and Spirit-filled passion.
OUR MISSION IS:
TO INVITE:
We believe in the fact that after the resurrection and before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, that he commissioned the Church to reach out and compel men and women every where from all walks of life, to not just come to church, but come to Christ and be saved. (Luke 14:23; Matthew 28:16-20)
TO LOVE:
We believe that as we who are now saved were drawn to Jesus by his great love, mercy and compassion, out of a world of sin and hatred, so shall others be drawn to him that they too can see and receive the same love from him exemplified through the body of Christ, namely the Church. (Jeremiah 31:3; John 13:35)
TO HEAL:
We endeavor to proclaim the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ to a sin ravaged world, for the healing of the mind, the body, the soul, and the spirit. Just as a doctor would administer his medicine to cure a disease, we believe the gospel is the remedy for every result that comes from the disease of sin in a person’s life. (Isaiah 53:5; Luke 9:2; Mark 16:15-18)
TO REDEEM:
We adhere to the belief that no matter who you are, and for what you might have done, and for how long you might have strayed from your God, that he is yet waiting with arms of forgiveness opened wide to receive the repenting prodigal back into a right relationship with Him. (Ezekiel 18:4; Psalm 49:8; Psalm 111:9; Ephesians 1:7)
Word of Truth Community Center endeavors to minister to the whole person by providing life sustaining resources to those whose lives are either at-risk or have been uprooted by poverty, homelessness, substance abuse, domestic violence, incarceration, or physical illness.
Word of Truth is a Refuge for Love, Healing, and Redemption. We minister by providing spiritual guidance, visiting the sick, feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and clothing the naked. We are a body that believes ministry is service and love is action.
We work together to serve God, One Another, the Community, and the World.
